Five Things to Know This Month: October 2017

Each month we send you "Five Things to Know" for the life of Village Church. This will typically include classes, info, and upcoming events. We also will give you dates to save as early as possible, so that you can get them on your calendar and be able to plan for them. Here's five things to know this month:

1. Men's Bible Study

All men are invited to join us for our new Thursday morning Men’s Bible Study. We are going through the Book of James, and we would love to have you there with us. Each week we will cover a section of the Book of James and spend some time in discussion/prayer groups. Start your Thursday mornings with men from Village Church this fall.

2. Women's Fall Event: Village at Home

All women are invited to join us for a night of food, fun, and fellowship. We will be gathering together to celebrate fall and learn to make some holiday soups. Don't miss a great time with the women of Village Church.

3. Baby Dedications // October 22nd

On Sunday, October 22nd we will be having baby dedications. This is a special time when parents make a commitment before the Lord, and our church family, to raise a child according to God's Word. If your family would like to participate, please email Lauren West // laurenwest@villagechurchirvine.com

4. Online Giving + Recurring Donations

We are grateful for all those who partner with us financially at Village Church, whether you are continuing in financial support, or looking to give for the first time. The easiest way to do this is through online giving, and the recurring giving feature.

You can set your own schedule (weekly, twice monthly, or monthly) and choose the amounts. It only takes a minute to set your automated giving.

5. Fall Pastor Retreat

Our Village Church Pastors will be away from October 12th-14th to pray for our church and plan for upcoming seasons. Would you join us in prayer that God would continue to lead us in 2018 and beyond, and that Jesus would be glorified in our church in greater ways in the days ahead? We appreciate your prayers.
