Little Village
THE CONNECTION CENTER - Children’s Ministry Check-In
How do you check your child in and out of Children’s Ministry?
All children from 0 to Kindergarten MUST be checked into the security check in system.
Upon your arrival to the Village Children’s Ministry check-in kiosk, you will be welcomed by our friendly greeters who will be more that happy to register you and your infant/child into our automated check-in security system each week. You will receive from this greeter, a nametag that MUST be placed on your infant/child. A family security code ticket will also be given to you for you to keep, for retrieving your infant/child back into your care at the end of the service. This code number will be on ALL your children’s nametags and will be confirmed by the teaching staff in each classroom when signing your infant/child out of their classroom at the end of the morning. You can toss this security ticket in the trash after obtaining your last infant/child from their classroom. The ticket can be torn into two halves so that you and your spouse can divide and conquer when retrieving your infant/children. You may also hand the ticket to the teacher that has the last infant/child you are picking up.
If you are checking in a Nursery or Toddler you may take a pager that is located at the Connection Center as well. When you go to the Nursery and/or Toddler classroom you will be asked to fill out the check-in form there, where you will place the pager number and answer a few questions about your infant or toddler. Only one pager is needed if you have both an infant and toddler. If you baby or toddler has any problems during their stay with us, you will be paged immediately.
The check-in security system begins at 9:30am and ends at 10:25am. No child will be accepted into a classroom without being checked-in and wearing a nametag. Service begins at 10:00am and children will be welcomed into their classroom at 9:45am. If you arrive late and the Connection Center is closed, you may sit in the sanctuary with your children or in the Hub. Our nursing mothers room is located across from the Toddlers classroom and you may take your infant in there to feed or care for your baby.
